Hi, Friend!

I'm Sam, born and raised in Yankton, SD. I have two brothers, two loving parents, and I’m related to the entire state of South Dakota. Not really, but probably. I graduated from high school in 2013 and joined the Army. I met some of the greatest people and made lifelong friendships. I went back and forth on what I wanted to do with my life and then I decided to go to Stewarts school in Sioux Falls, SD to earn a beauty license. I graduated with my cosmetology license in 2018.

In March of 2021, my husband and I welcomed our beautiful baby girl, Lauren, into this world. She is everything and more. We are so lucky to have such a precious girl! She’s truly handpicked by an angel in heaven.

In my spare time, you can find me tending to my chickens or chasing Lauren! I love to cook, read, garden, thrift shop, and learn new hobbies such as CrossFit and Cricut! I am a sucker for a good reality TV show, true crime, and I’m fascinated by history, specifically World War 2!

My vision with SK Beauty is to make busy and working moms feel like the empowered badasses they are. When you become a mother, you start to lose who you are and we need to practice self care and take that break we so desperately need.
